These lovely little earrings have been our best seller ever since they were introduced in 2015. They were the first Stardust Ball pieces of jewellery I made and paved the way for the Graduated Stardust Earrings and the Stardust Bracelet.
They measure approximately 1.9cm/0.75 inches from the top of the first ring to the bottom of the frosted ball and 0.9cm/0.35 inches at their widest point.
The Sterling Silver ear wires are Shepherd’s hooks.
They are not hallmarked as they weigh less than 7.78g.

How do they get the stardust effect? I hear you asking. Well let me tell you…
It is the way the silver ball is finished. Just as you can have a satin finish, a mirror finish or a hammered finish, you can have a stardust finish. However, whereas I can produce all the other finishes myself, the stardust finish is a little more technical. The surface of the silver is etched with a laser, which roughens the surface and it is this rough texture which catches the light and gives the ball its sparkle.
