NOUVEAU SWIRLS PENDANT
Fine Silver and Cubic Zircon with a Sterling Silver Chain.
A lovely tapering shaped pendant with a light, floral texture on the front and a deeper, veined texture on the reverse.
A liver of sulphur has been applied to enhance the lovely detail.
The 4mm cubic zircon is a beautiful red, which emits a beautiful warm glow. The stone twinkles rather that sparkles, giving a wonderful, subtle effect.
The pendant measures approximately 1.3 inches / 3.5cm long and is about 0.59 inches / 1.5cm at its widest point.
The sterling silver chain is an 18 inch / 46cm long diamond cut curb chain approximately 1.2mm thick. It fastens with a bolt ring clasp.
This item is not hallmarked as it weighs less than 7.78g.

I almost always apply a liver of sulphur finish to my fine silver pieces as it really brings out the texture and contrast in the textures. Some pieces, like this one, only have a light grey colouring whilst others benefit from a darker, more charcoal colouring. Some pieces look beautiful with a rainbow colouring.
Liver of sulphur can be used to create a variety of different colour patinas varying from the light grey of this pendant to rainbow hues and golden hues. Unfortunately, liver of sulphur smells like rotten eggs! The things I do for you…
